Our design for a 5,500sqm business centre in Hoxton, east London, has secured planning permission. The new building, for client Workspace 14 Ltd., will replace a 1970s light industrial structure. A long, shallow block between the railway viaduct and the Kingsland Road, it is divided by a tall, roof-lit light court along its centre, with galleries and bridges accessing the units. Shared rooms and spaces, including a street-front café, meeting rooms, kitchens, and informal seating areas are located around this central light-court, supporting the spirit of collaboration and exchange.
